The Infrastructure (Wales) Act 2024 (Consequential Amendments) Order 2025

Coming into force in accordance with article 1(3)
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 150(1)(a) and (2)(a) of the Government of Wales Act 20061, makes the following Order.
In accordance with section 150(5) of that Act, a draft of this Order was laid before Parliament and was approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
1 Citation, extent and commencement¶
2 Amendment of the Nuclear Installations Act 1965¶
In section 3(8)(a) of the Nuclear Installations Act 19652 (grant and variation of nuclear site licences), after “site” insert “or an order under the Infrastructure (Wales) Act 20243 granting infrastructure consent for the site”.3 Amendment of the Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act 1990¶
In section 12(3) of the Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act 19904 (deemed hazardous substances consent: government authorisation) for “(2B)” substitute “(2C)”.4 Amendment of the Finance Act 2013¶
Section 130 of the Finance Act 20135 (conversion of dwelling for non-residential use) is amended as follows—.
