The Chancel Repair (Church Commissioners’ Liability) Measure 2025 (Commencement) Order 2025

The Church Commissioners, in exercise of the power conferred by section 6(3) of the Chancel Repair (Church Commissioners’ Liability) Measure 20251 and in accordance with section 9(3A) of the Church Commissioners Measure 19472 and section 11(6) and (7) of the Church of England (Miscellaneous Provisions) Measure 20183, make the following Order.
1 Citation¶
This Order may be cited as the Chancel Repair (Church Commissioners’ Liability) Measure 2025 (Commencement) Order 2025.2 Commencement on 1st October 2025¶
The Chancel Repair (Church Commissioners’ Liability) Measure 2025, so far as not already in force, comes into force on 1st October 2025.Footnotes
