The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(3) of the Seafarers’ Wages Act 2023¹.

1 These Regulations may be cited as the Seafarers' Wages Act 2023 (Commencement) Regulations 2024.

2 These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

All provisions of the Seafarers’ Wages Act 2023 come into force, insofar as they are not already in force, on 1st December 2024.
