(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Animals (Penalty Notices) Act 2022 (Commencement) Regulations 2023.(2)They extend to England and Wales.
2 Provisions coming into force on 1st January 2024¶
The following provisions of the Animals (Penalty Notices) Act 2022 come into force on 1st January 2024—(a)in section 1 (powers of enforcement authorities), subsections (1) and (6);(b)in section 2 (powers of constables), subsections (1) and (4);(c)section 3 (content and effect of notices);(d)in section 4 (matters to be taken into account), subsections (1), (2) and (5);(e)section 5 (use of proceeds);(f)section 6 (reports).
