The Telecommunications (Security) Act 2021 (Commencement) Regulations 2022

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28(2) of the Telecommunications Security Act 2021¹, makes the following Regulations.

1 Citation and interpretation¶

1 These Regulations may be cited as the Telecommunications (Security) Act 2021 (Commencement) Regulations 2022.

2 In these Regulations “the Act” means the Telecommunications (Security) Act 2021.

2 Provisions coming into force on 1 October 2022¶

The following provisions of the Act, so far as not already in force by virtue of section 28(1) of the Act, come into force on 1 October 2022–

a Sections 1 to 3 (so far as not already in force by virtue of section 28(1) of the Act);

b Sections 4 to 13;

c Section 24 (so far as not already in force by virtue of section 28(1) of the Act); and

d Section 25(2).
