1 Citation¶ This Order may be cited as the Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2017.
2 Appointed day¶ The appointed day for the coming into force of section 2 of the Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act 2014 is 31st January 2017.

EXPLANATORY NOTE¶

This Order brings section 2 of the Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act 2014 into force on 31st January 2017. Section 2 confers powers on the Secretary of State to make regulations so as to secure the horserace betting levy is payable by bookmakers required to hold a remote operating licence.
