The Railway Closure (Exclusion) (Hairmyres) Order 2025

The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 38(1)(c) of the Railways Act 20051 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
1This Order may be cited as the Railway Closure (Exclusion) (Hairmyres) Order 2025 and comes into force on 18 May 2025.2In this Order, “the station at Hairmyres” means the railway station situated adjacent to Eaglesham Crescent, Hairmyres, South Lanarkshire, G75 8SW.
2 Exclusion from application of section 30 of the Railways Act 2005¶
The station at Hairmyres is excluded from the application of section 302 of the Railways Act 2005.
