The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 73 of the Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Act 20251.

1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

1 These Regulations may be cited as the Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Act 2025 (Commencement No. 1 Amendment and Commencement No. 2) Regulations 2025 and come into force on 30 September 2025.
2 In these Regulations “the Act” means the Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Act 2025.

2 Amendment of the Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Act 2025 (Commencement No. 1) Regulations

In the Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Act 2025 (Commencement No. 1) Regulations 20252, in columns 1 and 2 of the table in Part 3 of the schedule, omit the entries for sections 47 to 57 and 59.

3 Appointed day

1 The day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Act specified in—
a column 1 of the table in Part 1 of the schedule is 17 November 2025, and
b column 1 of the table in Part 2 of the schedule is 1 April 2026.
2 The subject matter of those provisions is specified in column 2 of those tables.
