The Employment Act (Northern Ireland) 2016 (Commencement No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2021

The Department for the Economy1, in exercise of the power conferred by section 29(2) of the Employment Act (Northern Ireland) 20162, and now vested in it3, makes the following Order:
1This Order may be cited as the Employment Act (Northern Ireland) 2016 (Commencement No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2021.2In this Order “the Act” means the Employment Act (Northern Ireland) 2016.
2 Provisions coming into operation on 20th September 2021¶
The following provisions of the Act come into operation on 20th September 2021—asection 4 (Power to require party to proceedings to pay deposit);bsection 7 (Power to require party to proceedings to pay deposit);csection 18 (Zero hours workers);dsection 20 (Careers guidance);esection 21 (Apprenticeships);fsection 24 (Variation in procedures for certain orders and regulations);gsection 27 (Repeals), in so far as it is not already in operation;hSchedule 3, in so far as it is not already in operation.
