A bill to Make provision for leave to enter or remain in the United Kingdom to be granted to the family members of refugees and of people granted humanitarian protection; to provide for legal aid to be made available in such cases; and for connected purposes.
Be it enacted by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

In Schedule 1 to the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (civil legal services), after paragraph 30 (immigration: rights to enter and remain) insert—Refugee family reunion
30A Civil legal services provided in relation to an application for leave to enter or remain on the basis of rules laid down by the Secretary of State under section 3(2) of the Immigration Act 1971 for the purposes of refugee family reunion as set out in section 1 of the Refugees (Family Reunion) Act 2024.
